Are you kidding? I *LOVE* being summoned! I honestly love it when I get to participate in that system. I want to be on the jury so I can judge the LAW and not just the facts. Please do read the http://www.fija.org/ site before you go! And if you want to be kicked off the jury before they get started, get a FIJA T-shirt and wear it -- they'll get you out of the room so fast, you won't know what happened.

I'm still waiting for one. The only time I was summoned was when I was a SAHM - which let me out of it as I couldn't afford babysitting and it used to be an excused absence... don't know if it is anymore. And no, I would NOT have any more kids just to get out of jury duty. *grin*

Been living in this county for 38 years... been living in this state for 40. I have YET to be summoned for Jury Duty. I am thankful and at the same time pissed off. I mean, c'mon. I'm a NATIVE RESIDENT... I must have something to contribute to this judicial system.
Oh. Never mind.
